ACCESS TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

3D Visual Planner software includes optional functionality, such as synchronising files and scheduled visits, which communicates with third party services such as Google Drive and Google Calendar. In order to enable this functionality, 3D Visual Planner software must be granted access to these third-party services. With your permission, access or personal information can be shared with us to enable these integrations.

The purpose of this access is to store and manage the appropriate information from the 3D Visual Planner software system in the nominated storage space.

Examples of these third-party services include but is not limited to: Google Products (Drive, Calendar, Maps, Photos etc.), Microsoft Products (Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, Dynamics, Skype etc.), Accounting packages (QuickBook.), Online Storage Services (Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, MS OneDrive etc.).

How 3D Visual Planner Accesses Third-Party Information

There are many different methods for requesting and receiving access to information. These are generally controlled by the third-party service. 3D Visual Planner uses the appropriate method for that service. Below are some examples of specific methods for specific services.

How this Works

When 3D Visual Planner Toolbox requires access to personal information from a third-party provider then we use the interface provided by that provider to request the appropriate scope of access specifically related to that task.

Google (or another third-party) displays a consent screen to you, asking for your authorisation for the application to request access to these specific services, only for the purpose of completing the requested task.

If approved this gives 3D Visual Planner an access token to provide the required level of access. That access token is attached to the request by 3D Visual Planner Toolbox.

Google determines that the request and the token are valid and then allows the access of the data in those external locations.

These access tokens and permissions are not shared with any other companies or agencies and are solely used by 3D Visual Planner Toolbox to transfer the information from the software system to the nominated location in Google Drive or Google Calendar.

You may view and manage these permissions via your Google Account. More information on this process can be viewed here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3466521?hl=en

Google Drive

We use OAuth access to receive permission to create and update Google Drive files that you have requested be managed via usage of the 3D Visual Planner Toolbox software. These managed files are indicated via their inclusion in a Root directory assigned by you.

We do not access files other than those indicated by you should be managed by the 3D Visual Planner Toolbox software. No employees at 3D Visual Planner will access your Drive information in a manner or scope inconsistent with the services provided by the software.

Google Drive Terms of Service also apply and can be viewed here: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2450387?hl=en

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Calendar

We use OAuth access to receive permission to create and update Google Calendar items that you have requested be managed via usage of the 3D Visual Planner Toolbox software.

We do not view or update calendar records other than those that have been created in your Google Calendar via usage of the 3D Visual Planner Toolbox software. No employees at 3D Visual Planner will access your Google Calendar information in a manner or scope inconsistent with the services provided by the software.

Google's Privacy Policy information can be found here https://policies.google.com/privacy
